This week has been our RE topic week and we have been thinking about why some people find Jesus inspirational and how we show thanks to Jesus.

We have thought about people close to us who we aspire to be like and the qualities that they have that we would like to develop within ourselves.

We talked about how Jesus is a solid foundation for some people to build their life on and how he provides them with the strength and guidance to make the right choices.

On Thursday we had a visit from Rev Phil and Mrs Oldham and we learnt about prayer and how Jesus can help ease our worries and how we are part of a community. We had a go at lots of different activities including making cards thanking God; writing prayers of thanks to God; making community buildings out of Lego; making people in our community out of play-do and we even got time to listen to a fabulous story about how to deal with worries.

It was awesome!
